Enjoy a relaxed morning in the Danube Delta and choose how to spend your free time. Join an optional boat trip to Gura Portitei, where you’ll stop at a secluded Black Sea beach for swimming and sunbathing, or explore the nearby lakes by boat. You can also go kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing or simply relax by the resort’s pool before returning to Bucharest.

What to bring

  • Passport or ID card
  • Comfortable shoes
  • In summertime, during sunset or sunrise, mosquitoes appear (not dangerous, but annoying). Insect repellent spray is recommended, and we will also provide it.
  • bathing suit, in case you might opt to sunbathe or swim.
  • Sun protective clothes and sunscreen, according to your sun tolerance.

Know before you go

  • The Danube Delta is a protected area, so please respect the environment
  • Wild horse sightings are not guaranteed. Birds and other animals will be seen for sure.
  • Available optional activities: boat trip on the lakes - 30€, fishing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking
